How To Select Vehicle Details and Check Sheet Options

Various pieces of information are required in order to create a Check Sheet:

  • Date - If a date other than today's is required, one can be selected from the dropdown.
  • Repair/Order Number - If required, a repair order number may be entered here. This number will be carried forward to the 'DSR' part of FordEtis for DSR eligible vehicles to assist data entry.
  • Vehicle Details - Although these appear on the Check Sheet, they do not affect the generation of it.
  • Service Details:
    • Vehicles identified using the 'Vehicle Lookup' option will have their details displayed automatically
    • VIN Date Code - When entered this code is used to filter the contents of the Model and Variant dropdown menus thereby acting as a shortcut
    • Model - Select the required model from the dropdown
    • Variant - Select the required variant (this list is dependent on the Model selected)
    • Interval Type - Select the required interval type (distance is usually only selected for high mileage)
    • Interval - Select the correct interval
  • DSR eligible vehicles will display details of the ‘Last Service Recorded in DSR’ and ‘Next Scheduled Service in DSR’. Based on this data the Service Details ‘Interval’ will be set automatically. This ‘Interval’ setting remains adjustable.
  • Check Sheet Options - Select the required options in this section.
  • The Emission Test and Brake Test options are only visible when selected on the Setup page.

  • Special Instructions - This section can be used to pass on special notes or instructions from the customer to the technician.
  • Items selected in the ‘Select Extended Period Maintenance operations’ will be carried forward onto the DSR screens for DSR eligible vehicles to assist data entry.
  • Details of items on the Check Sheet that specify renewal of parts and fluids will be carried forward onto the DSR screens for DSR eligible vehicles to assist data entry.
